Midhurst Rother College (MRC) Parents
MRC Parents
helps parents and carers to get more involved in College life, and influence and support the work of College.
We meet regularly with senior leaders and staff members to hear about, discuss and contribute the ‘parent’ perspective around how things are done, and planned changes. We work closely with senior leaders and staff members to shape new ideas, for example, through active working parties.
We raise vital funds (totalling £2,200 over the 2016/17 school year) which enable the College to organise activities and purchase resources that they would otherwise not be able to afford. Things like the Grand Piano, Football Table and wonderful costumes for school productions.
We organise social and fundraising events and help out at College events with things like refreshments. We’re always open to new ideas for fundraising and social events.
How can you get involved?
Come to a meeting
Every parent and carer is automatically a member of MRC Parents. Throughout the year, you’ll receive invites to our regular early evening meetings through College communications, or can check out what is happening on these web pages. Even if you can only make the occasional meeting, you are very welcome to come along – just turn up.
Get in touch
Do you have a good idea for fundraising or for a social event? A skill you would like to contribute? A burning desire to organise something? Or would you just like to get a little more involved in supporting the College and meeting other parents? Or just be on our mailing list?
We welcome your involvement, however small. So send us an email:
