Welcome!

The MRC Teaching & Learning Blog

As a community we have already focused on three of our T&L Non-Negotiables: Challenge, Modelling and Pace, and our current focus is on Questioning.  The sessions are designed to take you through some of the key thinking behind these fundamental concepts and also to allow you time to explore with colleagues, both departmental and cross-curricular, how you already apply this thinking and, hopefully, give you some new ideas and food for thought. Our aim is to give colleagues at least one 'takeaway' idea that can be easily implemented into your classroom practice straight away.

We are hoping that the blog will become a vibrant place for sharing ideas and to that end, we would like to offer an open invitation to any member of staff who would like to contribute in any way.

Have you read a good book or article on an aspect of pedagogy recently? Maybe you'd like to write a review to share with colleagues. Perhaps you have tried something new with a class that has worked well and would be willing to share this with colleagues.

Anyone who is interested in contributing in anyway to the T&L blog, please contact Sarah Nathaniel.
