Reading at Midhurst Rother College
At MRC, we recognise the importance of reading in enabling young people to experience the world beyond their immediate surroundings and unlocking their access to the whole curriculum. Our whole college reading programme takes place during tutor time, with each year group reading a carefully selected, age-appropriate texts aimed at improving literacy and broadening students’ cultural understanding.

Midhurst Rother College Library is used by all students, teachers and staff and aims to support students with their studies, teachers with their lessons and provide stimulating and exciting reading materials for everyone.
It is an important focus and support for learning and a haven of calm where students can chill out, read, and relax as well as do their homework, draw, play chess and scrabble and much more.
