Uniform
The College considers the wearing of uniform correctly and with pride to be very important; it signals very clearly that students have come to the College to learn and be part of our community.
The College has a clear policy on uniform and we ask you and your parents to give it your full support. This avoids having to spend valuable time reminding you about details or involving parents in unnecessary expense by buying items which are unacceptable. The way in which our uniform is worn is equally important. Shirts must be tucked in, top buttons done up and ties worn at an appropriate length.

All students are expected to wear a plain dark winter coat/jacket when needed. A weather proof jacket can be obtained through our College uniform supplier at a reasonable cost. ‘Hoodies’ are not part of College uniform. Outdoor garments should be removed when indoors. Coloured hair, cult hairstyles or excessive makeup is not acceptable. Long hair must be tied back for PE, Science and DT. All uniform should be clearly labelled to ensure that lost/misplaced items can be returned.
