Welcome
An introduction from the Principal, Dr Joe Vitagliano
Midhurst Rother College opened in January 2009. It is a brand new academy which has brought together Midhurst Grammar School, Midhurst Intermediate School and Herbert Shiner School. Many years have passed since I was a pupil at two of these schools and I am delighted to be back here as Principal.
Our academy aims to bring out ‘the best in everyone' - students, teachers, support staff and parents. We not only promote academic success but also stress the importance of friendship and fun. Our students enjoy coming to the academy and we want them to leave here as confident, articulate and ambitious young adults.
Through our partnerships with Winchester College and the University of Chichester, we are able to accelerate academic progress and broaden the horizons of our students and staff.
We are looking forward to the construction of our new building which will be fully equipped with the latest technology to bring learning alive. This will provide the very best educational opportunities for all our students.
I hope you find all the information you need on this website. If you would like to know more about Midhurst Rother College please contact us to arrange a time to come and meet us.
