An introduction from the Principal, Dr
Midhurst Rother College opened in 2009. In 2013 it was judged outstanding in all Ofsted categories with achievement at GCSE and A level in the top 20% nationally.
Through what we hope will be a seven year partnership, the College aims to bring out ‘the best in everyone'. We not only promote academic success but also stress the importance of friendship, fun and personal responsibility. Our students enjoy coming to school and the aim is to ensure that they leave the College in Year 13 as confident, articulate and ambitious young adults.
Through strong links with the University of Chichester, Winchester College and other strategic partners, we are able to accelerate academic progress and broaden the horizons of our students so that they go on to take up important positions within society.
At Midhurst Rother College a key part of students’ preparation for the future is involvement in the Extended Day and rich extra-curricular programme; leadership, volunteering and participation are important parts of the ‘MRC Experience’.
